AFCR 3V3 TOURNAMENT
Join us for the AFCR 3v3 Tournament this winter — a fast-paced, high-energy competition that’s all about fun, skill, and teamwork!
Gather your squad of 3–6 players and hit the field at the Regional Sports Center for an exciting day of small-sided games and nonstop action. The Girls’ tournament takes place on December 27, followed by the Boys’ tournament on December 28, featuring age groups U9–U14. With only $120 per team, it’s the perfect way to stay sharp over the holidays and show off your talent.

3V3 Format & Rules
Match Format
• Game Length: 22-minute running clock (no halftime)
• Clock Stops: Only for serious injury
• No overtime during group play
• Ties stand in group play. Knockout games go to a shootout (see below)
Teams
• Roster Size: Maximum 6 players (3 on field, 3 subs).
• Substitutions: Unlimited
• Minimum Players to Start: 2 per team.
• Ball Size:
• U8–U12: Size 4
• U13+: Size 5
• Shin guards required
Gameplay
• Kick-ins replace throw-ins (no hands).
• Goal kicks: taken from goal line; ball must touch a teammate or opponent before crossing midfield
• No punts or drop kicks
• No offside rule
• All fouls are indirect free kicks (defenders 5 yards away)
• No dangerous play
• Goals can only be scored from the attacking half.
• Kickoffs are indirect.
Scoring & Standings
• Win: 3 points
• Draw: 1 point
• Loss: 0 points
• Tiebreakers:
1. Goal difference
2. Goals scored
3. Head-to-head
4. Coin toss
Playoff Overtime / Shootout
• No overtime period
• Shootout format:
• 3 players per team, one kick each
• Any player may shoot; no goalkeepers (use defender on goal line).
• If tied after 3, sudden death rounds
Discipline
• Yellow card: Player sits for 1 minute; team plays down a player.
• Red card: Player ejected; team plays remainder of game with 2 players
Officials
• 1 referee per field
• Referee decisions are final
